This image, which was found on a Reddit thread named r/OddlyTerrifying is a reminder of how nature can be both beautiful and terrifying. This is a skeleton from a long-lost Caribou that fell into this narrow canyon and was unable free himself.
It was an incredibly gruesome end, but a hiker who came across the skeleton could not resist taking a photo of its unsettling placement. It’s frightening to see how quickly and thoroughly the caribou has been picked through.
