Beauty is all in the eye. Pictures are remembered not because of what they were intended to be but rather for what the viewer sees in them. Imagine looking up at the sky during a particularly cloudy evening, and seeing the clouds change into the shape of what you perceive.
It’s impossible to remove something from a photograph, just as it is impossible to remove something that you have seen in the sky. It will always exist. This broken bulb will always look like a ghost with its ectoplasmic limbs.
