Many of us wish to build a home from scratch, but this is not something everyone can do. The cost of building a house from scratch is high, since you have to plan and construct the home. There are always unexpected issues that can arise during a construction project.

A Texas man was given a blank canvas, but the inspiration for his dream house. Will Breaux wanted a three-story home made from 11 shipping containers. Plans were approved for the Texas man and he started his project. He describes it as a labor of love. Breaux is still working on his project and has now moved into the amazing shipping container house.

House Construction: Bring creativity to it

Will Breaux, a Houstonian, dreamed about building a container house. Breaux had no prior experience building houses but was motivated by his vision. He also wanted to add a creative touch. Breaux acknowledges that his house isn’t exactly traditional.

The container home’s style and construction are unique. Breaux’s home is not everyone’s ideal house. But he wanted it to be different. Houston man’s pipedream has now become a reality.

There were 11 storage containers in total.

Breaux bought 11 storage containers to construct this amazing home. He was convinced by the safety features that these containers offered when he decided to build his home. Breaux realized that storage containers were not only hurricane proof but also durable, strong and fireproof. Breaux’s house could be built in a few short days with a crane.

Breaux is expecting that the project will take some time, even though it was built quickly. He converted 11 industrial containers into a homely atmosphere, largely on his own.
