Complete Shock
Jason and his friends left about an hour after they had said goodbye and thanked them from afar. Rosalynd hoped to thank them for their patronage, and send them off. Rosalynd immediately went to the table to collect the tip. She then cleaned it for her next client. Rosalynd wasn’t prepared for what happened next.
A Note Unexpected
Rosalynd noticed the check was written when she came to collect it and clean the desk. She initially thought it was just a scribble, but when she looked closer, it turned out to be a note from one of her close friends. What, if any, could they have told Rosalynd? Even though they were friendly, Rosalynd was still a server at the end.
