A Epiphany
Jason remembered seeing the Busboys and Poets wall with all the influential people and thought about how the Women’s March and the Inauguration coincided. These two individuals were inspiring, as they expressed American values. Jason began to think about things he had never considered before. Both the living and dead people of this world have much to teach us.
Shared Values
Jason, who is a Christian, believes that these two events are the basis of what it means for an American to be. Jason was moved to tears by the guards of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. He thought of how, no matter the president’s political views, they all follow the same 21-step tradition. Jason kept up with all the changes that have occurred in America within a short period of time.
