Kristi Yamaguchi, a legend of skating. She is among the most decorated Olympic skaters. Californian-born, she was the first Asian American to win gold at the Winter Olympics. In the 1990s she won medal after medal.
She had a Hollywood Career, starring as Aladdin on Ice and Dancing with the Stars, in addition to Go Figure. Yamaguchi is no longer in Hollywood but she continues to be involved with figure skating, this time as a mom. Emma, her 15-year-old figure skater daughter (although she is not competitive), has been trained by Rudy Galindo since nine years. Galindo used to be Yamaguchi’s doubles partner.
