Photos taken from the surface and orbit of the Red Planet show there may be life on Mars

The buried Lake

Water is essential to life. Is there water on this planet? We know that there are parts of the planet’s surface which can be frozen, and they can melt as it warms up. In 2018, scientists discovered a lake of liquid water for the first ever on Mars.

A Martian Lake can be found at the South Pole of Mars, under an ice cap. The ice-penetrating Radar was used to detect it from orbit. The lake is said to be frigid, filled with salts and unlikely to have any life in it.

Fish fossil

According to one theory, Mars used to have an ocean even larger than the Arctic Ocean. When the Mars Curiosity Rover captured this raw image, UFO Sightings Daily immediately pointed out a figure shaped like fish in the rocks.

Everyone thought that the theory was correct and that the fish was a proof that there was aquatic life in Mars. NASA, however, said this was just a rock in the shape of a fish.
