Alert authorities

The mass contained a part of a car that was reported stolen just a few month earlier. The hikers were stunned and alerted the authorities.

They discovered, as they investigated the case with the police, that the owner had also been reported missing around the time the car was stolen. They could not shake the feeling there was a link.
