Lawyer arrives
Sarah’s attorney arrived after what seemed like an eternity. She hoped this horrible interrogation would soon be over. Sarah, with her lawyer at her side, explained to the officers the whole situation and after a time, she had the perfect approach: “Let’s me do the speaking.”
Explaining the situation
Sarah was calmed down by the lawyer, who assured her that she would not end up in prison. He told her that she did nothing wrong. Sarah didn’t break any law. The police are trying to scare Sarah in order to extract some information from her.
The lawyer then called back the detectives from the police department.
