Homes often sell for less than the price they were listed for. Many celebrities have learned this when they tried to sell their properties at a profit. Even if the property was originally listed for $35 million, getting $21.65 is not a bad deal.
Gwen Stefani received this amount for The Summit, the hilltop mansion she purchased with Gavin Rossdale back in 2006. Stefani did not seem to care about keeping their old marital home after the couple divorced. Stefani put up the 15,500 square foot estate for sale, and found a buyer.
