Lily ran after him
Lily ran after him and begged to go with. John would normally say no because Lily wasn’t old enough to sit up front. Lily insisted, however, that she had grown up and was a big child. She even held her booster seat.
John couldn’t resist his daughter because he was in such a bad mood.
