Mark’s release
Mark was immediately released from police custody upon the conclusion of the investigation. Mark hugged his wife and two sons in a reunion full of joy and relief. The police, in collaboration with military personnel specializing in explosives, had already removed the bomb from the yard when they returned.
Despite the obvious signs that excavation was taking place, there was a calm and peaceful atmosphere emanating from the property. In the months ahead, these echoes were to resurface, causing another upheaval.
