Be careful
A log floated on the surface of the water, just a few metres from the shore. Ian had seen it earlier casually, but something now seemed off about its position. It was moving. It shifted as he watched it, mesmerized.
Their playful tactic worked! Ian, who was dangerously close to the water’s edge, as he looked about, noticed something odd.

Ian was skeptical about his father’s explanation. He checked the log again to confirm his suspicions. He was surprised to find that the log kept moving randomly.
Ian ran to his parents, full of curiosity and excitement to tell them about his discovery. His father calmly explained that the log moved because of the currents in the river. This dispelled Ian’s initial surprise.
