Eric Didn’t Understand
When it originally occurred, Lily’s husband Eric had been sympathetic and understanding. But he started to feel irritated when Lily kept getting sick after eating his mother’s meal.He thought she was just being silly. He once went so far as to say that she was acting because he thought Lily had never really liked his mother in the first place.
Not Interested
Which was not at all the case. Well, sort of. Lily did not particularly like Eric’s mother, but this was simply because she never seemed to be much interested in her. She always spent most of the time they spent eating at their place talking about herself, or she would just inquire about Eric’s life.
